Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 June 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Wombill (“we”, “us”) and our website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Wombill helps Australian sole traders and small businesses create quotes and invoices, manage clients, and related workflows. Plan limits and features are described on our pricing page and may change.

Wombill is a software tool only. We do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ABN, GST treatment, and documents you issue to clients.

You are responsible for reviewing all quotes and invoices before you send or rely on them, including line items, quantities, rates, discounts, GST, totals, and payment amounts. Wombill performs calculations based on the information you enter; we do not guarantee that totals, tax treatment, or payment allocations are correct for your situation.

Voice quote and other AI features suggest content based on your input. You must review all suggestions before saving or sending documents. We do not guarantee AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for tax or legal purposes.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

Team and invite features let you add users to a business account subject to your plan.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, billing intervals, and inclusions are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in accordance with Stripe and your plan settings.

If you connect Stripe to accept payments on invoices, you enter into a separate agreement with Stripe. We facilitate the integration but do not hold your clients’ payment funds. You are responsible for Stripe account setup, fees, and compliance with Stripe’s terms.

Refunds are handled at our discretion unless required by the Australian Consumer Law. Downgrading or cancelling may reduce available features immediately or at the end of the billing period, as shown in the product.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to send spam or malware.
  • Attempt to access another user’s data without permission.
  • Reverse engineer or overload the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains unlawful material.

Your content

You retain ownership of data you submit (clients, quotes, invoices, logos, and similar content). You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service, including generating PDFs and shareable links you request.

You control who receives quote and invoice links. Links may allow viewing without signing in. You are responsible for sharing them appropriately.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. All calculations (including subtotals, GST, totals, and partial payments) and document templates are aids only. You must verify all figures and tax treatment before sending documents to clients or using them for billing, BAS, or other compliance purposes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of profit or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) AUD $100, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Australia.
